Client: European bank

Problem: Following increased regulatory scrutiny, the board mandated training on model risk management for all employees. Most staff had no prior knowledge, and many confused End User Computing (EUC) tools with models - creating compliance and operational risks. 

Solution: I created a 40-minute eLearning module that simplified complex, technical content and provided regulators with evidence of proactive, organisation-wide model risk awareness. 

Tools: Articulate Storyline, ElevenLabs.

Problem: through surveys with risk professionals and interviews with CROs, I found that 80% believed the Three Lines Model was not implemented effectively in their bank. The research highlighted key challenges: poor communication, unclear accountability, duplication of effort, and friction between teams.  

Solution: I delivered a 60-minute multimedia, eLearning course for the three lines and senior management. The course combined bitesize instructor-led videos with interactive slides, case studies, and scenario-based exercises to build practical understanding.

Problem: a survey of 100 past course delegates revealed that risk strategy was a core training focus. A needs analysis revealed that there is often a misalignment between strategy and governance.

Client: Latin American bank

Problem: the client needed to build an organisation-wide understanding of AI,  and its practical applications for different risk teams.

Solution: I designed and facilitated a live virtual course with core sessions on AI fundamentals, and optional deep dives on specific risk types. Interactive elements were embedded throughout to sustain engagement virtually. The programme was delivered in Spanish with interpretation support where needed, ensuring accessibility.

Problem: risk appetite breach process was complex and unclear, making it difficult for employees to understand the correct escalation steps. 

Solution: designed a clear, visually engaging infograpic that simplified the escalation flow, helping employees quickly understand responsibilities and reporting procedures for risk appetite breaches.
